The exterior of the building is tan and white throughout with blue roofing. When entering the dispensary, you will be greeted by one of our lovely Cannabis Advisors at the check-in counter. Dunlawton Sugar Mill Gardens. The Dunlawton Sugar Mill Gardens are a community space that features flora and fauna native to the surrounding area. Attendance is free, but donations are accepted that help maintain the property. The beautiful space that includes water features and lush landscaping is used for local events and can even be rented out for celebrations like birthdays and weddings.
Marine Discovery Center. With education of the biodiversity of the Indian River Lagoon of locals and visitors alike as their mission, Marine Discover Center has aided many efforts including local favorites like daily boat and kayak eco-tours. Along with the outdoor exhibits and opportunities to learn, there are indoor exhibits and experiences that educate visitors on the most biodiverse estuary in North America – 4,000 species of plants and animals call Indian River Lagoon home.
McKenna’s Place Seafood Sports Grille. Family-owned and operated McKenna’s Place is a local treasure that features a robust menu with options like pasta, burgers, wings, and seafood, of course. Many recommended trying the lobster roll saying, “it was overflowing with lobster meat,” touting it as one of the most delicious items on the menu. The bar is a favorite of brewers in the area; there are 24 craft beers on tap from local and regional craft breweries, including Cigar City and New Smyrna Beach Shark Attack.
Polynesian Fire Show. This must-visit experience is located a little north in Daytona Beach, but the Polynesian Fire Show is an award-winning performance group that is worth the drive. Located within the Hawaiian Inn Hotel, be prepared for a two-hour spectacle that is non-stop heat, pun intended. Be sure to hit up the buffet that features items like Polynesian BBQ Chicken and Kalua Pork!
