  • Spanish Monastery. Would you believe us if we told you the monastery was originally built in Northern Spain over 700 years ago? The building’s history includes far more than its Spanish origins – after a social revolution in the 1830s, the building was seized from the Monastery’s Cloisters and used as a granary and stable. The building remained for nearly a century, until it was bought and piece by piece taken apart and shipped to the United States. Over the years the stones exchanged hands until the 1950s, when the stones were bought and assembled into the beautiful monastery we see today.
  • Oleta River State Park. Touted as Florida’s largest urban park, Oleta River State Park is only a quick 10-minute drive from MÜV North Miami. The natural oasis is located on over 1000 acres and is a mecca for mountain bikers, paddlers, anglers, and swimmers. As a part of the 1515 mile Florida Circumnavigational Saltwater Paddling Trail, long-distance paddlers are welcomed at Oleta River State Park.
  • Museum of Contemporary Arts. Miami is one of the top cultural destinations of the south and the Museum of Contemporary Arts is its hub.
